Dear Peggy Jo,
I enjoy reading your weekly updates and your "articles" on the right side.. very thought provoking..

Peggy Jo,
By the way, your idea of a Buddy System is sooooo "right on"! I have often wondered what would happen if I fell or slipped outside in my garden and hit my head and my dog cannot get help.

Peggy Jo,

Dear Peggy Jo,
Cell phone companies are charging us $1.00 to $1.75 or more for 411 information calls when they don't have to. Most of us do not carry a telephone directory in our vehicle, which makes this situation even more of a problem.

When you need to use the 411 information option, simply dial 1(800) FREE 411, or 1(800) 373-3411 without incurring any charge at all. This is the kind of information people don't mind receiving, so pass it on This works on your home telephone also.

[editor's note] This service works. but one must listen to a commercial first and they rarely dial the number for you so you have to have a way of capturing the number. A nice service that Verizon is offering is that they will send a text message to your cell phone with the listing, for a charge, then you can enter it into your directory. They do this before they dial the number for you.
Hi Peggy Jo,
I heard Peyton made a pass at you
Q.A.
Is this the Peggy Jo that I knew from a long time ago? Just wondering. Cool idea of a internet site.

Hi Peggy - I've been missing your newsletter for the past two weeks - I hope wasn't dropped from the mailing list - can you respond and let me know if you're still sending to me, or perhaps there's something going on at my firewall here in Troy - if so, please begin forwarding the newsletter to my home - many thanks!

Congratulations Dave Parks

Subject: What is Globalization?

Answer: Princess Diana's death
. Question: How come?
Answer:
An English princess with an Egyptian boyfriend crashes in a French tunnel, driving a German car with a Dutch engine, driven by a Belgian who was drunk on Scottish whisky, (check the bottle before you change the spelling) followed closely by Italian Paparazzi, on Japanese motorcycles; treated by an American doctor, using Brazilian medicines.
This is sent to you by an American, using Bill Gate's technology, and you're probably reading this on your computer, that uses Taiwanese chips, and a Korean monitor, assembled by Bangladeshi workers in a Singapore plant, transported by Indian lorry-drivers, hijacked by Indonesians, unloaded by Sicilian longshoremen, and trucked to you by Mexican illegals.
That, my friends, is Globalization.\

Since love grows within you,so beauty grows. For love is the beauty of the soul.
St. Augustine

Do you Know What A Reverse Mortgage Is?

    by Teresa Fisher
Reverse Mortgages allow older homeowners to take a loan out against the equity they have built in their home. The loan provides tax-free cash and requires NO monthly mortgage payments during the course of the loan. The loan is repaid only when the borrower no longer occupies the home or a maturity event occurs (moving out or passing away).

    Reverse Mortgage Facts:
    1. Must be 62 years old.
    2. Homeowner ALWAYS remains on title.
    3. Homeowner NEVER makes any payments (excluding taxes and insurance)
    4. Homeowner can NEVER be removed from home.
Reverse Mortgage can provide money for any or all of the following:
    1. Long-term care/ medical expenses.
    2. Daily living expenses/ Pay off debts.
    3. Insurance Products
    4. Home repairs
    5. Travel
FHA (HECM) offers one type of reverse mortgage that is insured by US government and id completely regulated. The amount of money available is based on age, value of home, and what money is owed

Homeowner can receive money as a monthly income, lump sum payment, line of credit, or any combination of these options. Additional information can be found on the following web sites: AARP(www.aarp.org), Fannie Mae (www.fanniemae.com), HUD (www.hud.gov). A local Reverse Mortgage Specialist, Teresa Fisher, can be contacted at 248-601-0625 office, 800-707-5874 ext 1433 or email at msteresafisher@yahoo.com to answer questions or discuss your needs.

I hope this has shed some light on the benefits of a Reverse Mortgage. Senior homeowners are recognizing the significance of the equity in their homes as a way to fund their retirement years and enjoy more financial freedom!
