Thoughts About Motherhood

(from an email I received)

Mother's Day no 2

To Your Health___!

What, exactly, are the internal and external benefits attributed to Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar?

Following the old cliché, "An apple a day keeps the doctor away," apples are one of the oldest, most nutritious foods on earth. They are rich in potassium, a mineral many of us are deficient in, and a deficiency that causes old age to creep upon us sooner. Calcium maintains our hard tissues such as bones, and potassium is the equivalent to the body’s soft tissues, keeping the body’s flesh and arteries soft and resilient. Fresh, organic apples are used to make Apple Cider Vinegar, which contains necessary ingredients, such as enzymes, and life-stimulating minerals, mainly potassium, in a natural state. Besides being a natural stimulant for vitality, Apple Cider Vinegar cleanses and restores nutrients to the body so that the body can heal itself.

It helps Remove Body Toxins * Helps Promote a Youthful Body *Helps support a healthy immune system * Helps Maintain Healthy Skin * Helps Control Weight * Improves Digestion and Assimilation * Soothes Tight and Aching Joints and Sore Muscles from exercise * Soothes irritated skin.
Just mix 1 to 2 tsps. organic raw ACV  in a glass of distilled water---
and mixed with 1 to 2 tsps. raw honey for added taste and good health!
Hang on guys ------I have to go mix myself that yummy cocktail. Try it you might like it!

E-Mails from our Readers

Dear Peggy Jo,

Your verse from Eccl 11:10 so true.

On Friday I would have loved to have attended the Inforum at the Marriott, but instead was attending my 3 1/2 year old nephews funeral.  His name was Noah and he was the strongest little guy.  He was born with many anomalies, had 13 operations in his short life and many suggested they end it.  We know that only God can decide when to call you up.  Most people say oh now they will get there life back!  He was there Life!  They were chosen to have him. He was a blessing and lessons to the medical profession.  We are all better for having Noah in our life, and now maybe he will continue to help other babies live longer into life, and teach families about real love and sacrifice.  Thank you for all your spirituality,

Denise Kelly

Ps many thanks to all the Physicians and Nurses who  touched his life, Hurly Hosp. Flint, and Children's Hosp.  Great respect for a particular  nurse who had 8 children of her own who came willing to care for Noah  at his home, weekends and Midnights. She brought her family to see Noah so they would understand why she had to be away from them.  How beautiful to see thru their eyes on Mothers day weekend.  Her husband is a saint too!

Peggy Jo,

Thank  you for the information regarding health care.

Some people in our country object to "socialized medicine." It is ironic because in our
country we have socialized education, socialized defense department, socialized
Veteran's medical care among many other government-run systems. Do these same
people advocate eliminating these systems or privatizing them?

Most importantly, we need universal health care coverage for the sake of all our children.
Children should not have to get sick or even die because their parents truly cannot afford our
very expensive health care insurance. I pay for my own health insurance, and each
month I am reminded of how expensive it is.

Warmly,
