"Pressure Cooker Web Sites"

We have heard a great deal about using pressure cookers to make bombs. As we all know a pressure cooker has a release valve which has to be disabled in order for the bomb to work.

The normal pressure cooker is designed to allow some amount of pressure to be built up but when the safety level is breached the valve will open and the pressure is released.

Has anyone experienced a "Pressure Cooker Web Site"? This is where a representative of some organization is asked a question which they are not able to answer either because they don't know the answer or they know the answer would cause even more pressure. This is where they tell the questioner that the answer is on their web site and they give them the URL. This relieves the pressure because they know that few people have immediate access to the web. They know that the web site contains general information about the organization but the pertinent information may or may not be there. The web site might supply an email address where more information can be requested.

With more and more people carrying s martphones with access to the internet, this pressure valve might disappear.

We would like your feedback on this topic

At the Royal Oak Farmer's Market last Saturday I tried a new offering from Charley The Singing Hotdog Man. It's chocolate candy made with a touch of Charley's mustard. The result is a delightful blend of sweet and tangy. I recommend it!

Blue Water International Ski Club

Port Huron, MI & Sarnia, ONTARIO

The Blue Water International Ski Club has over a hundred members who all share a love of travel and outdoor adventure. The club plans and facilitates at least two trips every year. In the past few seasons we've skied; Vail and Aspen/Snowmass, Colorado; Moonlight Basin, Montana; Jackson Hole, Wyoming; Whistler and Panorama, British Columbia; Killington, Vermont and Sugerloaf, Maine just to name a few. Because we travel as a club we enjoy reduced rates on airfare, lift tickets and condo fees, so our trips are reasonable and affordable. Every level of skier is welcome as we have members who ski the easy runs as well as those who take on the aggressive slopes. New members will find that we double as a social club with fun, interactive meetings and events such as BBQ's, golf outings and sailing get togethers planned year round. This is a great place for couples and singles to meet new people and make new friends.
