|Parade of Lights and Swim Party 8/7/2004|
All Sailing Singles are invited to The North Star Sail Club, on the Clinton River, to view the Parade of Lights which starts just after dark. NSSC is presenting a buffet supper starting at 7:00 pm
Gloria Gray, who lives 10 minutes from North Star, is inviting all to use her pool prior to the parade starting as early as 11:00 am. She has a large parking lot next door and car pools can be arranged for the trip ti North Star.

|Small, Small Boat Day 8/8/2004|
COME OUT AND PLAY Small, Small Boat Day on a Small, Small Lake On Sunday August 8, 2004 starting at 11:00 am or when it suits you to come.
The place is Lake Lansing in Haslett, Mi at 6292 Lake Drive. Water Play: We will have Kayaks, wind surfers, assorted other small water craft(TOYS). Jim Moeller, Mr. Very Good Kayaker, can show us what we're doing! Bring any water toys you'd like to play with and share. Mary Gavin, Ms. Plays Well With Others, said she'd bring some toys to share! (small inflatable boats)
Game Plan: We'll grill and enjoy potluck at 5:00 pm. Later we can deck dance and PARTY! You are welcome to stay over: bring your sleeping bag
What to bring: Lawn or sand chair, tofu(or meat) to grill, potluck dish(plates, silverware provided) Beverage of choice (cups, ice provided) Who knows what the Bier Meister will choose?

Cove Marina is at 42 degrees 27 minutes North 82 degrees 20 minutes West. Cove Marina monitors channel 68
Friday Dinner: On your own. There is a restaurant at the Marina.
- Breakfast and Lunch on your own.
- 3:00 pm Cocktail Hour Bring an appetizer & BYOB
- 6:00 pm Pot Luck Dinner bring your own entree and a dish to pass.(less than 4 on a boat 1 dish; 4or more, 2 dishes) Same criteria if driving. Charcoal will be provided.
- 7:30 pm White Elephant. Bring a wrapped gift.
- 8:00 am Coffee
- 9:00 am Breakfast Pot Luck see criteria outlined for Saturday's Pot Luck.
Skippers:Boat wells are approximately $1.00 per foot.
