Never Talk to Strangers
or
My Life is the "Love Boat"

I always have been able to relate to Julie on the "Love Boat." The difference is, my "vessel" is wherever I happen to be at any given moment. Im sure glad my parents didnt teach me to "Never talk to strangers!" because it has been a blessing to me. Talking to strangers, I mean. My point, dear friends and family, is that if I embarrass you, Im sorry for being "out there," talking to people, but it is so neat and exciting. I have met and become friends with the nicest people by talking to strangers at a restaurant, the bank, the grocery store, walking, working out, waiting in line, etc.

A few months ago, I met three fabulous men at dinner and at breakfast another day, I met two great gals. Ive introduced all of them to some of my friends and gotten them to come to some of the activities Im involved in. They really are special people and Im glad they came into my life. Networking is what it is all about - I guess thats what this newsletter is all about, too!

I just met a woman at the bank who Ill probably end up doing business with. The other night, at dinner, I met Dennis Archer, Jr., Frank Torre, and some other interesting people. They introduced me to their spanking new magazine called "Ambassador."

Life is exciting and, whether you are an old or a new friend, Im glad weve met to share a portion of our lives.

By the way, I just met Mark at Westborn Market . Hes one of the owners and he introduced me to the donut peach which was absolutely delicious!

Way To Go God!

God is sitting in Heaven when a scientist says to Him, "Lord, we don't need You anymore. Science has finally figured out a way to create life out of nothing. In other Words, we can now do what You did in the 'beginning'."

"Oh, is that so? Tell Me..." replies God.

"Well, " says the scientist, "we can take dirt and form it into the likeness of You and breathe life into it, thus creating man."

"Well, that's interesting . Show Me."

So the scientist bends down to the earth and starts to mold the soil.

"Oh no, no, no..." interrupts God,

( I love this )

"Get your own dirt."
"People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care."

"A big man is one who makes us feel bigger when we are with him."

John C. Maxwell

Can You Open Car With Remote Over Cell Phone?

There is an email circulating which reads something like this:
"If someone has access to the spare remote at your home, call them on your cell phone. Hold your cell phone about a foot from your car door and have the other person at your home press the unlock button, holding it near the phone. Your car will unlock."
While it sounds plausible, It won't work because the remotes transmit an encrypted data stream over a radio frequency signal -- a signal that can't be relayed by cell phone.

If get a similar e-mail, check it before you spread it. To see if a circulating e-mail is true or false, go to Snopes.com.

Snopes also says that keeping your car panic button near one's bedside to be used as an alarm is also invalid because we have been desensitized to honking car horns. however, if one alerts their neighbors to their intended use it might be a good idea.

This could become a good deal

The Promotional Coupon campaign we started in the last issue had just a few takers in the first week. We already have a few sponsors and more will come aboard once the system proves itself but we do need participation

Help us and yourself by looking at the available coupons, registering for them and then using them. This might encourage other sponsors to jump on board. If you have any ideas for sponsors let us know about then and let them know about us.

Your email address will not be sold, traded or given to anyone else. We already have your email address or you would not be getting this eNewsletter. Look at the directory at http://www.graynwhite.org/Coupons/Available.a spx
