This Week's Now Famous Person

Dean is now famous for appearing in the "Got Mustard Campaign"

He is aso famous for his phenomenal garage that was featured in Garage Magazine

So when you see or contact Dean be sure to tell him you saw him in the Peggy Jo Studio Newsletter. You can see the other hundreds of people by clicking on the underlined words above.

You can browse rather than wait to see a particular photo with the "digital mustard" on the upper lip. One can replace the phrase in the section box with a first name and deleting any other text in the box. Then only the slides that contain that name are displayed.

If you had your photo taken and can't find it in the slide show please send us an email. If you would like to send a photo to be included, send it to webmaster@peggyjostudio.net. We will supply the "digital mustard".

Congratulations Dean

Reports of acts of kindness that we have received

My friend took me home in his 2-seater car, but we worried about how my girlfriend would get to her house.  Several times she said she'd be fine, "I can always get a ride" ; but of course she wasn't fine. It turned out she was stranded. So my friend gallantly drove all the way back to pick her up  after dropping me off and drove her home.

I was in the grocery store the other day and saw a woman with an arm full of items hardly able to keep them from falling from her grip. I ran over to her just in time with a basket to catch the groceries before they all spilled out on the floor. She was very gratful and I was relieved I got there before the spill!

Selfridge Air Show

Week end of 2009-08-22
This year's Selfridge Air Show at Selfridge Air National Guard base will have a major focus on technology and the environment.

Selfridge officials say NASA is bringing a major technology display as part of the show, to be held Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 22 and 23. Also, one of the show's civilian aerobatic pilots, Greg Poe, will burn clean American E85 ethanol in his high-powered Fagen MX2 high performance aerobatic airplane.

The plane is capable of speeds of more than 270 mph and can withstand 16 times the pull of gravity (which is about twice as much as it takes to black the normal person out!).

More at www.selfridgeairshow.org or www.127wg.ang.af.mil.

Poe, a world famous pilot and one of the most skilled on the airshow circuit, has been chosen for several nationally televised airshow freestyle

competitions. He placed second in the World Free Style Sport Flying Championships in 1999 and third in the World Aerobatic Federation contest in 2000.
