|Sail under the August Moon Friday 8/27/2004|
The Edison Boat Club at the foot of Lycaste will be the site of the August Full Moon sail.
Members will meet at the EBC at 5:30 where they can use the restaurant for supper.
Directions are from Jefferson and Conner.Take Conner south(toward the river) to Frued St. turn right to Lycaste and turn left onto Lycaste the club is at the end of the street.

|Huron Pointe Yacht Club's Annual Barbecue 8/27/2004|
Every Year Huron Poine members cook the best ribs and chicken and donate all the profits to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
This years fund Raiser is on Friday, August 27, 2004 starting at 6:00 pm The cost is $20.00 which includes food, beer, dancing and is tax deductible.
HPYC is located at 32800 South River Road. Take I94 to Metro Parkway east to Jefferson and turn North/right on Jefferson to South River Road and then turn right/east to the end of the road. Park in the DNR park and walk back to the Club.

|Memory Walk at the Zoo 8/28/2004|

Our goal for "PaPa's Earth Angels" team is to raise $200.00 We are currently at $130.00. Please take the time to donate toward this event. As my dad would say, "It's for a good cause."
Memory Walk 2004 is quickly approaching! Participants from all walks of life will come together on Saturday, August 28, 2004 at the Detroit Zoo to help raise money and awareness about Alzheimer's disease and the Alzheimer's Association. Please visit our site and join with your friends, family, and colleagues to walk with us and to raise your voices in support of those living with Alzheimer's disease

Cass Connely's Hoe-Down will be held at his ranch in White Lake at 2735 Haley. Bring your chair, a dish to pass and $10.00. Take Porter Road north From M-59 and drive about 3/4 mile to Haley which is a dirt road. Cass and Roxanne's acreage is on the left.
Johnny Mac and Lee and there group will be on stage about 4:00 pm.
