Emails from our readers:

Dear Friends of Susan Tabar,

Susan has always put a smile on our faces and has helped many of us. She now is in the fight of her life and needs our prayers and support.

Susan was recently diagnosed with a rare form of blood cancer and will have to endure very expensive, experimental and painful chemo and bone marrow transplant initially. There are only a few oncologists in the country who have significant knowledge on this type of cancer, unfortunately. She is a Juvenile Diabetic so, no matter what she goes through will be more difficult to manage due to her chronic disease and other chronic health problems that she suffers from. Susan has been there for so many throughout the course of her life.

A Trust Fund has been set up in her name at Bank of America. Let us show her how much she has been appreciated and loved and pay it forward to her now while she fights to save her life.

susan Tabar Please share this page with others, as Susan knows many people and we are trying to help her.

Thank you for your consideration and kindness during this very critical time in dear Susan's life.

Any donations big or small, would be appreciated. Thank you.for your consideration.

You can make a donation online at www.thembng.com/tabarfund , or by mail to G1NBC c/o Susan Tabar P.O. Box 893, Hamburg Michigan, 48139

Sincerely,
Friends of Susan Tabar

Veterans Day At Lambeau Field

LAMBEAU FIELD Those who attended the game said it was extremely emotional to see the entire bowl of the stadium turn red, white and blue. It took 90 workers two weeks to get all of the colored card boards mounted under each seat. Each piece of card board had eye slits in them so the fans could hold up the colored sheet and still see through the eye slits. Every seat had to have the proper card, with no mistakes, to make this happen.

Keep Off The Waterbed

Don't miss the very last one! ha ha ha ha
A water Bed in a German furniture store. Note that the sign says NOT to get on the bed, but oh well..the best way to motivate people to do something is to put up a sign saying "Don't-------!" Turn on speakers and watch people trying out the water bed. It's in German, but that only makes it funnier. Watch for the last two ladies !

Crocker House Museum Trip

SUN 2012-10-07
Crocker House Museum The first mayor of Mount Clemens, Joshua Dickinson, built this Italianate house in 1869. His daughter Katherine, the great-granddaughter of city founder Christian Clemens, and his son-in-law, George M. Crocker moved into the house after their marriage in 1870. Crocker, a former prosecuting attorney and justice of the peace, became mayor upon Dickinson's death. Mount Clemens was known as the great health and pleasure resort of Michigan. People from all over the world and from all walks of life came to Mount Clemens for the healing powers of mineral baths. A visit will take you back in time to when the Crocker family lived in the home and also offer a glimpse into Mount Clemens' famous Mineral Bath era. Many art pieces are also on display by local artist Franklin Harold Hayward. The museum is open March through December, Tuesday thru Thursday 10 am - 4 pm and the first Sunday of each month 1 - 4 pm, excluding holidays.
