Dear Friends of Susan Tabar,

Susan has always put a smile on our faces and has helped many of us. She now is in the fight of her life and needs our prayers and support.

Susan was recently diagnosed with a rare form of blood cancer and will have to endure very expensive, experimental and painful chemo and bone marrow transplant initially. There are only a few oncologists in the country who have significant knowledge on this type of cancer, unfortunately. She is a Juvenile Diabetic so, no matter what she goes through will be more difficult to manage due to her chronic disease and other chronic health problems that she suffers from. Susan has been there for so many throughout the course of her life.

A Trust Fund has been set up in her name at Bank of America. Let us show her how much she has been appreciated and loved and pay it forward to her now while she fights to save her life.

susan Tabar Please share this page with others, as Susan knows many people and we are trying to help her.

Thank you for your consideration and kindness during this very critical time in dear Susan's life.

Any donations big or small, would be appreciated. Thank you.for your consideration.

You can make a donation online at www.thembng.com/tabarfund , or by mail to G1NBC c/o Susan Tabar P.O. Box 893, Hamburg Michigan, 48139

Sincerely,
Friends of Susan Tabar

Keep Off The Waterbed

Don't miss the very last one! ha ha ha ha
A water Bed in a German furniture store. Note that the sign says NOT to get on the bed, but oh well..the best way to motivate people to do something is to put up a sign saying "Don't-------!" Turn on speakers and watch people trying out the water bed. It's in German, but that only makes it funnier. Watch for the last two ladies !

Emails from our readers:

Last summer I had three black Locust trees in my yard cut down. I asked the contractor to cut up save a lot of it so I could use it as firewood for backyard fires. Unfortunately, this kind of wood does not flame up and is useless as a fireplace type of firewood. However, it is a hard wood that burns very hot and very long and is great for a wood burning stove or any other kind of home heating wood. Just don’t look for flame beauty. Beyond that, feel to do your own research.

I have what may amounts to a chord and a half I’d love to get rid of. About (10’ x 5’) spread. Most of this has already been split and has been drying for a year and a half.

This wood is made available to a first come first pickup all I have basis. I’d prefer to get rid of it all in one fell swoop. Throwing it away in the Sterling Heights Garbage pickup remains an option, but I prefer to give it to someone who can use it.

If you think you can use it and are agreeable to take the entire load, please contact me and we’ll arrange a pickup time. You’ll need your own pickup truck. I live hear 18 & Ryan in Sterling Heights.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

-Darrell.

Veterans Day At Lambeau Field

LAMBEAU FIELD Those who attended the game said it was extremely emotional to see the entire bowl of the stadium turn red, white and blue. It took 90 workers two weeks to get all of the colored card boards mounted under each seat. Each piece of card board had eye slits in them so the fans could hold up the colored sheet and still see through the eye slits. Every seat had to have the proper card, with no mistakes, to make this happen.

Final Golf Outing - Scramble!
Ann Arbor Ski Club

SUN 2012-10-14
We will be playing Reddeman Farms on Sunday October 14 for our last outing for the year. It will be a 9 hole scramble with cash prizes! Golf is $20 for 9 holes with a cart. The first group tees off at 1pm sharp. There is a $10 entry free on top of that for prizes. Pay the course for your golf at the Pro Shop and pay DuWaine for your entry into the scramble. We will also have our Annual Zilch Championship after golf in the dinning room. Zilch is the official dice game of the AASC Golf Group. Do not worry if you do not know how to play. We will help you keep score. Our inclement weather policy is to meet at the course and if we can not golf, the eating and drinking and the Zilch will start early! Reddeman has good food for a reasonable price. Email DuWaine early for golf as this will fill up fast. duwainehoy@att.net. Also let him know if you do not plan to golf but just want to eat and party with the group. RSVP early to hold your spot. There is no music but dancing is optional. It has been known to happen!
