Somerset Singles Ski and Golf Club will hold their monthly meeting and dance at the Troy Elk's Club located at 1451 East Big Beaver between Rochester rd and John R.

The Elk's Club hosts a Spagetti dinner starting at 5:00 pm and is only $4.99. One can also order off their menu.

  • Sailing Singles Meeting 11/12/2004
  • This Sailing Singles Meeting, to be held at the Troy- Clawson Elks Club at 1451 East Big Beaver Road, will be chock full of events and information. Prior to the meeting scheduled to start at 8:00 pm there will be dance lessons and a desert auction. (see below)

    Ann Enghardt will be collecting coats and canned goods to be given to the Baldwin House. Receipts will be available for the donations. Contact Ann Enghardt at 586-268-2027. More details are in the Sailing Singles newsletter.

    The results of the election will announced and dancing will follow the meeting.

    There will be a "Lost & Found" Table at the meeting Nov. 12, please plan to look for lost or misplaced items tat were left on Boats

    Ed Grace had replacement knee surgery on Monday, 11/1, and is in rehab at Crittenten Hospital on University Dr., between Rochester (Main St.) and Livernois in Rochester. Visiting hours are 8 to 8..He is in room 420B. If he is not in his room, ask a nurse, he may be in therapy on the 5th floor. We are invited to visit him there, also

  • Pat Elgin, of Sailing Singles, is in the St. Hubert Adult Choir which will be singing on stage, for opening night of the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular on Fri. November 26th at the Fox Theater. The Mayor of Detroit will welcome back the Rockettes to the city of Detroit and the Choir will put on a 20 minute show before the Christmas Spectacular. If you would like to attend this performance, Pat Elgin will be selling discount ticket for main floor seats for $31.00 each. Main floor seats sell for a minimum of $50.00 each.   • Monday November 8: Social Security & Medicare Back by popular demand will be Mr. O'Brien Roberson of the Social Security Administration. The history and practices of the Social Security Administration will be discussed. Don't sit holding on the phone waiting for answers to your questions and concerns, come hear it from the horse's mouth. Mr. Roberson has years of experience at the Social Security Administration and can easily help you find answers to your questions and concerns.

    Monday November 22: EBAY: What it is and how to use it With the Holidays approaching, doing your shopping over EBAY or similar internet auction sites may be beneficial. Rich Armstrong will present the do's and don't of EBay'ing. He has found it to be a very useful tool for shopping and cleaning out the attic.
