  • Tequila and salt
  • Sent by a friend-and I believe it. You may not realize it but it's 100 % true.

    1. There are at least two people in this world that you would die for.
    2. At least 15 people in this world love you in some way.
    3. The only reason anyone would ever hate you is because they want to be just like you.
    4. A smile from you can bring happiness to anyone, even if they don't like you.
    5. Every night, SOMEONE thinks about you before they go to sleep.
    6. You mean the world to someone.
    7. You are special and unique.
    8. Someone that you don't even know exists, loves you.
    9. When you make the biggest mistake ever, something good comes from it.
    10. When you think the world has turned its back on you, take a look.
    11. Always remember the compliments you received. Forget about the rude remarks.

So.. If you are a loving friend, pass this message along.

Remember: "When life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt."

  • AfterGlow Thu 12/2/2004
  • Forget good karma. Forget the stars. Forget your lucky day of the week. Success is something that YOU make happen and that means connecting with the right people now at the NEW After Glow networking event hosted by the Great Lakes Journal, Awecomm.

Join us monthly for an evening of networking. Relax, have a beer, make new connections and enjoy. The opportunity to win your next client, strike a deal with a new partner, or build a new business relationship with likeminded companies is possible for you.

The meeting this month is at 18 W. Pike Street Pontiac, MI . Built in 1896, 18 W. Pike St. is part of Pontiac's historic commercial district. The building formerly housed Michigan Bell, and the club space is decidedly vintage, with its towering windows and ceilings, structural columns and octagonal ceiling trim. It's dark and moody, with carpeted floors, tasteful greenery and lots of candles.
